LEACH PADS
High-risk chemicals are used in mineral leach process. The combined use of Geosynthetic Clay Liners and Geomembranes protects pregnant solution loss and leakage into the subsoil. This system guarantees waterproofing and self-sealing. In addition to being a very efficient barrier, it replaces the volume of clay in the lower layer and therefore the hauling and use of machinery for this purpose. Significant savings are obtained, the carbon footprint decreases and the concentrated mineral solution is efficiently channeled for further refining.
TUNNELS
Waterproofing and water conduction in tunnels is essential. Depending on hydraulic loads, geocopounds are undoubtedly the best alternative to protect the structure from instability caused from water erosion.
FLOATING COVERS
It is necessary to protect wild life from pregnant solutions. We are pioneers designing and installing floating covers with high-tech UV resistance materials, as a real physical barrier for this means. LANDFILLS
The final disposal of garbage represents a technological and environmental challenge. Leachate contains, among other components, traces of lead and mercury, which are highly toxic to the human body. These components migrate and pollute the aquifer used for human consumption. Geoproducts are used as the most efficient barrier between dangerous leachates and groundwater.
LANDFILL COVERS
Organics decompose in gases that migrate to the atmosphere. Once the capacity of the sanitary landfill has reached its maximum level, it is recommended to use geoproducts as a gas confinement system in order to take advantage of the energy potential that these gases provide, transform them into electricity, reducing odors and protecting the environment.
